Huétor Santillán: Nacimiento del Río Darro
Sunday 11th of September 2022 11:00 AMThis circular walk starts near Huétor Santillán. It is 11.3km long, has an elevation of 244m and takes approximately 4 hours to complete.
LONG DESCRIPTION
The walk starts on the other side of the A92 motorway from Huétor Santillán. We walk up following the River Darro to its source after which it becomes the Barranco del Polvorite. We continue on up through the Arroyo de las Tejoneras to the Mirador del Darro. We then leave the arroyo and follow the track from the Fuente de la Teja on to the Casa Forestal de los Bolones. From we here, we continue following the track down and make our way back to the starting point.
